Synopsis

During the feast of the Immaculate Conception, a man prays in the Franciscan sanctuary of the Madonna di Rosa. His mind starts to wander and loses itself in the crowd of a funfair. Like a spider’s web, spun between heaven and earth, he embraces the world and all things human. In a unique, hypnotic and virtouse long take in black and white, Alberto Fasulo films the anguish of a gaze that is avid for life, yet firmly within the grasp of gravity.
