Synopsis

The Tagliamento – King of the Alpine rivers – runs through border territory in which intense silences and submerged vitality interact. The spine of a region that has been a meeting point and crossroads in the history of Europe, this river is the protagonist of a story that investigates this force of nature and its possible resistance, the everyday life of men and women and their persistence because “water has memory.”
